Pieter Faes (Dutch, 1750 – 1814) painted this luxurious bouquet of roses, carnations, tulips, and other flowers and fruit. This work, in oil on oak panel, measures 67.7 x 50.4 cm (26 1/2 x 19 7/8 inches). It was sold at Sotheby’s, London, 6 December 2018, for 30,000 GBP.
