Painter Fede Galizia (Italian, 1578 – 1630) created this incredible still life of cherries in a silver compote with a dark background. This oil-on-panel work measures 28 cm (11.02 inches) in height, and 42 cm (16.54 inches) in width, and it is held in a private collection.
