Flowers by Paul de Longpré

Flower artist Paul de Longpré (1855 – 1911) painted these beautiful floral bouquets of Icelandic and California poppies, roses, clematis, daisies, and other flowers. Born in France, he relocated for some years to the United States, and he painted only flowers, finding inspiration at his estate in Hollywood, California, where he had planted more than 4000 rose bushes and other flowers in a magnificent garden.
