Jacob van Walscappelle (Dutch, 1644 – 1727) painted this beautiful bouquet of tulips, roses, lilies, carnations, and other flora, with berries and butterflies, circa 1670, during the Golden Age of Dutch painting. This oil on canvas work is mounted onto oak and measures 59.8 x 47.5 cm. It is held by the National Gallery, London, United Kingdom, currently located in Gallery Room 17a.
