Claude Monet (French, 1840 – 1926) finished and sold four water-lily paintings in 1919, and this grand work was one of them. This oil-on-canvas landscape measures 39 3/4 x 78 3/4 inches (101 x 200 cm), and it is on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Fifth Avenue, New York City, in Gallery 822. (The first photo is by The Met. The rest are my photos, taken in the gallery July 2017.)
