Henriëtte Geertruida Knip (Dutch, 1783 – 1842) painted this exquisite bouquet of roses, tulips, lady’s purses, black irises, and other flowers in a vase, and a stem of pink roses, on a stone ledge in 1830. It measures 57 × 42 cm (22.4 × 16.5 inches).
